His ascension to the highest local position in SVG\u2019s Football can be regarded as a cumulative sojourn, as he has been serving the sport in various capacities.<\/p>\n

Apart from being an active player in his youthful years, in 1998 Dickson founded the Samba Football Club. Six years later, Samba has crowned the National Club Champions. He was also the Manager of Premier Club, Besco Pastures.<\/p>\n

Chronicling his service to Football, Dickson was involved as a match official for over two decades. During that period, he was able to gain the respect and admiration of players, fellow match officials, administrators as well as spectators, for his fearless and impartial dispensing of his duties.<\/p>\n

In 2011, Dickson was elevated to a Concacaf Referee Instructor, an appointment he holds in high regard.<\/p>\n

But Dickson underscores his engagements with the Samba Football Club as being instructive and impacting but strongly believes that his refereeing engagement assisted him in being fair and impartial.<\/p>\n

According to him, it was there he realized how important the structure, rules, and regulations in the sport within each department are and later aspired to develop the SVGFF in his current capacity.<\/p>\n

Dickson thus brings with him, a reservoir of knowledge and experience, having spent thirty years in banking and finance which he has brought on board to lead the organization and develop the sport and more so, the SVGFF.<\/p>\n

Dickson stated that his vision is to bring a vibrant and structured footballing ecosystem to St. Vincent and the Grenadines as he focuses on developing the Brighton Technical Centre and a state-of-the-art \u201cHome for Football\u201d.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The SVGFF has already purchased a parcel of land, for the construction of that \u201cHome\u201d for the sport.<\/p>\n

One whose disposition is characterized by putting excellence as a priority, Dickson has also ensured there are infrastructural improvements with the resurfacing, enclosure, and imminent lighting at the Brighton Technical Centre. This undertaking will allow the SVGFF to host football matches at its convenience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have the responsibility of looking after Football in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and with support from the executive body, football will be in good hands\u201d Dickson stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe SVGFF strategic plan was done collectively with the board which focuses on Infrastructure, Administrative and technical development along with Grassroots and School football. We will continue to improve relationships with the government and stakeholders to develop an Elite program for generations to come\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
